A few random things:
One: According to Gallup, Congressional Races are now competitive after ages of the Democrats having double digit leads. Is this more Palin effect? Do Democrats have reason to be worried?
Two: Speaking of Governor Palin, you'll probably be hearing how she blew a foreign policy question in her interview with Charles Gibson on ABC supposedly not knowing what the "Bush Doctrine" is. But according to Charles Krauthammer, Palin got it right and Gibson got it wrong:
There is no single meaning of the Bush doctrine. In fact, there have been four distinct meanings, each one succeeding another over the eight years of this administration — and the one Charlie Gibson cited is not the one in common usage today.
So don't believe everything you read in the media. But you should know that.
Three: Hurricane Ike is supposed to be the worst storm to hit Texas in 50 years. Wait, 50 years ago, there was no global warming. How could there be worse storms than today?
Four: Barack Obama put out this ad:
But John McCain can't do email because of war injuries (Read: torture) made it so he can't type on a keyboard, comb his hair, or tie his shoes. When's the Obama ad going to come out "Do we really want a President who can't tie his shoes?"
