Barack Obama told a crowd in Boise, Idaho that he loves Jesus and won't take away their guns.
On Jesus he said:
"I've been going to the same church for 20 years, praising Jesus."
And on guns he said:
"I come from a state - we've got a lot of hunters in downstate Illinois. And I have no intention of taking away folks' guns.''
However, as AP reports:
Obama didn't mention that he does support gun control and has a record of voting for it in the Illinois Senate. He backed limiting handgun purchases to one a month . . . A spokesman for Obama rival Hillary Rodham Clinton pointed out that 12 years ago when he was running for the state Legislature, Obama said in a questionnaire that he "supported banning the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns.''
There are a lot of gun control laws you can pass without taking away people's guns . . . if you define "guns" as hunting rifles.
Obama likes guns, as long as they weren't designed in the last 100 years.
He's on record as wanting to ban all semi-autos.
I also note the difference between "prohibit manufacture, sale, and transfer" of guns, and "confiscate existing guns".

As opposed to Hillary Clinton's more "moderate" position, of course, that the federal government should have the authority to forcibly confiscate, at gunpoint if necessary, all types of firearms from lawful gun owners in times when they'd be needed most for protection of their families and communities.

Obama... I think he is just telling lies after lies to make himself look good! I don't understand how he is doing this and getting away with it leading in the race. I don't think he is the right person to control the united states.
