I knew it was too good to last.
Cindy Sheehan is back, this time threatening to run against Nancy Pelosi for the seat from her district if the Speakerette of the House doesn't introduce articles of impeachment for President Bush in two weeks:
"Democrats and Americans feel betrayed by the Democratic leadership," Sheehan told The Associated Press. "We hired them to bring an end to the war. I'm not too far from San Francisco, so it wouldn't be too big of a move for me. I would give her a run for her money."
No, the Democrats know that trying to impeach Bush would fail, piss off the country, and possibly lose them the majority.
Sheehan announced she was leaving the peace movement late in May. So she was able to go without a press conference for more than a month. Guess the 12-step program for addiction to attention didn't work out.
I wish her luck in her campaign. Will be fun to watch Pelosi be attacked from the left.
